honestly, yes. you need to give your cervix time to heal. doing it to soon gives you a higher risk of infection. believe me, I know it sucks to wait but your better off safe than sorry. give it at least another 2 weeks.
I'd ask your doctor because both OB's I've had have said no intercourse for 6-8 weeks whether it's a vaginal delivery or a C-Section. Better safe than sorry.
My dr said at the least 6 weeks, and that's after she checks my cervix to make sure it's closed and everything is where it should be, healing wise. She prefers 8-12 weeks, which in all honesty it probably will be there for me. 1 because I want to make sure I'm comfortable and 2 to be vindictive 😂 my hubby and I only had sex 3 times the whole time I was pregnant, even when I asked to...so why should I let him get it when he wants? Hahaha!!!
