depends on what the hospital provides for you and baby. my hospital provides everything, all toiletries, onsies for baby and diapers wipes, pads, nursing pads, so all I am bringing is my phone charger, hair brush, going home outfit for me, nursing bra and tank, Chap stick, Bobby pins and hair ties, gum, going home outfit for baby, Swaddle blanket, Boppy pillow, carseat

Blanket from home, an outfit to feel comfortable in, some baby clothes, food, but that's about it. I brought a ton of crap and used like 0 of it.
