I want to talk to c-section mothers. I want someone I can complain and relate to.

@kedrababy , my scar healed pretty good , esp for having like almost 40 staples.

@kedrababy the first one I had was hard! Hang in there and get as much rest as you can (I know it's hard w a little one) take all the help you can get and don't forget your meds :) it will get better I promise!

my second csection was the greatest. all I had was a head ache from the spinal they gave me so they gave me a blood patch and I was good as new. I was walking without the binder and I even went to to the mystic aquarium a few weeks after. I felt great. ❤

mine got infected 2 days after i left the hospital. I had a little hole in my incision and they would pack guaze into it by using the hard tip of those long cutips they have. It was the worst pain ever. they had to reopen the surface with no meds to clean it out right in the office. Scarriest shit. since the first day after surgery I was a horrible mess. couldn't walk, sit or sleep without an abdominal binder if I didn't have that binder I was hunched over from pain. I was not able to do anything for a few weeks. 😕

I hear ya! Just remember, if you don't take care of yourself, you can't take care of your baby. I have 2 friends who "did too much" after their C Sections and had problems. One has a hernia and one had a hemorrhage after picking her 15 pound dog up and had to go to the ER!

@kenitra, I've been having a lot of help too. It's so hard to just sit back and watch. I want to be involved and care for my baby 😣

@purpledpink, I think not resting is def a factor. I noticed my bleeding was going away the days I didn't do much but now that I've been walking more I've noticed an increase in my bleeding. I'm gonna try to take it easy today

The recovery was rough at first! To have major surgery and take care of a newborn is so hard. Luckily my hubs did most of the work at the beginning. I didn't even change a diaper until Day 5! He also made sure I didn't walk around with the baby or pick him up - especially since I was on pain pills for 4-5 days after. Getting moving helped me a ton. We started daily walks at 8 days old. And I also go to women's pelvic floor physical therapist twice per week who does scar massage and helps me bring my abdominal muscles back together. Among other things!

@kedrababy, @lacyjaymedal1, 😂😂 I was good with the epidural from my 1st (unplanned c section), but with this one I had an all around panic attack... haha, the anesthesiologist started, and I was having a hard time holding my position.... I literally told him to stop and we could try again another day! Hahahaha, by then I was numb!

@kedrababy, honestly healing from this one (this was my 2nd) painwise was MUCH better!! I was able to stop the pain pills at about 1 week post op.... however, I am 4 weeks post now, still bleeding pretty bad and passing clots. My doctor is concerned and watching it, but said that it is from me not "resting" the way I should (my son has been in the NICU so there is LOTS of back and forth). My suggestion is to rest as much as possible (I know, next to impossible with a newborn), don't lift anything too heavy, and try not to stress. Hopefully your doing well!

@lacyjaymedal1, I don't like needles either and I got an epidural. I cried like a baby. The nurse was wiping the snot from my nose lol

I had a C-section but my baby passed away but I was up 3 hours after having it walking cuz I don't like her being in the hospital so I have to have another C-section with this baby and I'm ready I was scared I don't like needles but gotta get after it

I had an emergency one after 27 hours of laboring. I also had a repeat. The first I couldn't even breathe the second it was like I never had surgery.

I've had 3! And my last hurt more then the first too

I've had two previous and will have one this pregnancy also

I'm a C-section mom, I had one for my son and I'll be having another one February 21st.

I had one due to my head trauma and I loved it.
