I know that when you get an exam it can irritate the cervix and cause spotting. I'm 36 weeks and 2 days. had my dr appointment and asked if he could check me just incase. he said I'm 1 cm dilated and 50% effaced. he than said he sees my bloody show is also coming out on his glove and he wouldn't doubt she will come in the next week sometime. now I'm getting lots of bloody discharge and some back pain. thoughts? no contractions though.
