I wanted to start working again like maybe a couple of months after I have my daughter but I've never liked the idea of someone watching my kids and they can't walk or talk to tell me what goes on while I'm away. My husband is fine with me staying home but I would really like to work if I could find someone to trust with our kids.
I haven't been looking at the moment @cassieleighx33
@tookie-birdsmom any luck on finding a work from home job? I been looking since I had my son last Tuesday I really don't want to leave him in 5 weeks because I don't like how my. boyfriend and his family don't listen to me and do what I know is right for my son
Maybe I'll get lucky and find a job I can do from home, that would be perfect @redribbons31
Maybe your employer can allow you to work from home? Just a suggestion. That's what I do.
Omg I'm sorry you had to go through that, that's what I fear happening, I mean after all I would be leaving my kids with complete strangers and a lot of daycares have it to where the children are seperated by age groups so my boys wouldn't be able to tell me if something has gine wrong with their sister. I just gives me anxiety thinking about it. What happened to you is awful though I definitely fear leaving my little girl and my boys with people I don't know because people are crazy. It's very sad to think about. @dreamermom
I have worked my whole life, but made the difficult decision to stay at home, it's not easy at all... but I was molested by another kid at a daycare (I was super young and don't remember thankfully)... my parents had done a ton of research the place was top notch, but it still happened... So I'm just not willing to risk it... my parents did eventually hire a little retired widowed lady to come watch us when we were a little older... and she was wonderful!
My oldest step-daughter recently decided to go back to work, she started at a daycare after having her child, so she gets paid, and has her child with her all day... for her it was a win-win! Totally has helped with breast feeding too!
It's a hard choice to make... just have to do what's right for yourself and family!

Am I wrong to be upset? Last night I was running a fever, weak, tired, sore, my left boob feels like it got used as a punching bag. I asked my husband to call out of work today to help me with the kid so I could get some rest. He went to work. I texted him this morning. Part of me thinks I mean. The other part of me thinks I was fine for saying that because he should've stayed home with us.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
So someone contacted me waiting me to watch her son four days a week for $150/wk. I had to tell her that even if someone worked for $10/hr it only pays for a day and a half in my opinion?
I mean maybe I’d do it for $300? But the $150 I just can’t see if being worth it to me
You couldn't find a babysitter?!
Mommas, do you take your kids with you to run errands and go to mundane appointments? On two separate occasions, a doctors appointment for me and today at a car service appointment, someone has remarked "you couldn't find a babysitter?!" It never crossed my mind to find a babysitter. I take my 2 kids with me just about everywhere. They are well behaved (minus the occasional 3 year old meltdown) and one of them is attached to my boob the majority of the time anyw...
@tookie-birdsmom oh well when you do if you have luck let me know
