Does any other *younger* parent feel like there being forced to go back to work/education before the usual 9 months? My daughter is 3 months today and next week I have to go back to college for 2 days a week then I'm off to uni full time come September but since before Christmas every time I see certain family members or distant friends or even when I pop into my work (Tesco) even just for milk I'm constantly getting asked when I'm coming back but I feel like *older* parents never get treated like this, like I mean no matter what age you are your not going to want to leave your baby before you really have to

I made it clear when i have my children, my eldest being nearly 5. im not going to work (i understand that some people have to) im fortunate enough to not have to work, but i do have three children 5,2 and 4 months and also home education until 18 so isnt that working also but being their mum. i say if you dont have to go back to work then be with your child. most certainly dont leave them before you have to.. xx

As an 'older parent' Yes I was asked every time I saw people if & when I was going back. Both times lol
