Everything you just name. Plus the main reason why I won't let my daughter stay with inlaws alone is becomes I don't want their dog licking her face and belongings... Also Being told that my baby shouldn't sleep in bed with us. So the other day I lied to her for the first time and told her she sleeps in the bassinet 😏

@inkedmomma, yes! Like I get ur suppose to layer them alil extra but not over do it. I just went through the same thing like no I'm not gunna bundle my baby up to the point she's a big marshmallow.

@ryliannsmommy, ugh I'm the same with dogs. Ever since I had my baby I absolutely hate dogs if I have her with me. And omg I am dreading when she's older and the amount of candy they'll be giving her without permission 😒😒

@desi720, ugh des! I'm so happy u mentioned that about the inlaws and the dogs. So Spencer mom watches her Friday nights when I work and the dad goes to bowling so she is only with Violet with three dogs! A yellow huge lab who is very affectionate a beagle who is okay and a new puppy who got big quick and likes to jump and lick! They get really defensive about there dogs and don't see the licking as a problem but I told them it is to me she is still a baby and it's gross. When vee is older it's different. How do I go about taking away there day of babysitting?! I honestly appreciate them helping but I can't take the damn dogs.

@desi720, yes cosleeping is always gunna be an issue to some people but it's whatever works for the mommy and baby.

I hate when people tell me I hold my baby too much and need to put her down more. She's only 7 weeks old, if she wants snuggles she gets snuggles!

@hannahbbtt, pretty much everything you mentioned are some of my pet peeves too. Im EBF and I hate when people tell me I should pump more often and give my daughter bottles now or she won't like them at all later . People don't know that it's not that easy to just change your babies habits especially their eating habits . And I'll do it when I'm ready! Lol. I also hate when people, especially those without little ones give my kid sugar when they know they won't have to deal with him all day being hyper and stuff from the sugar.

Girl simply tell them you don't like the dogs licking your baby. So please watch the dogs around her. Just say you appreciate the help but that makes you nervous as a new mommy. My inlaws know how I feel about it so they doggy fence thing( I forget what it's call) so the dog is in one room when me and the baby are over I just wouldn't trust them alone with her until she gets a little older and can defend herself better. The dogs part is so gross after they lick their own ass it's then okay for them to lick a baby face I don't see how anyone can be okay with that😒

@desi720, I said all of that but still don't trust what they tell me. She said they r in other room or outside. Ugh it drives me nuts. She also said oh they don't bother her when ur not over. Like what's the difference if I'm there or not?! Maybe I shouldof messaged u about this lol but do u know works policy like I need a different earlier shift on Fridays. People in school get there schedule to suite them so why not me too?

If that's the case I wouldn't have her over if you can help it then they will understand why. They can come to your house to see her. Talk to your manager and talk to your coworkers about switching schedules sarah use to do it all the time when she was in school. See if someone is willing to work with you or fine a site that can.
