I so need some mom advice my daughter is 6 years old she won't sleep in her own bed, nd she won't fall asleep on her own I have to pat her on the back or rock her my husband hates it, but if I don't put her to sleep she will cry, if she can't sleep in my bed she will cry. How do I get her to sleep in her own bed nd fall asleep on her own? Thank you for your advice

I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Quick question does any of you moms let your baby sleep in bed with you if so was it hard to get them to sleep in there own bed? My baby is a little a month and I tried having her sleep on her own and she just kept waking up and when I put her in bed with us she fell back to sleep and stayed asleep.
help! earlier today, my daughter was sleeping on my chest, and she stopped breathing for a good few seconds, since then, she has been awake, and won't fall asleep unless I'm holding her. I try to put her down, even on my lap and she won't fall asleep unless I'm holding her... we've been feeding her more and more, I can't pump anything else.. I want to fall asleep with her because that is literally the only way she's sleeping but my SO is against that, and pulls the whole "if something happens to her, you'll never forgive yourself" card... meaning, everyone has been fussing at me for sleeping with her before saying that what if I roll over on her and suffocate her... so now, I'm downstairs, in the recliner watching TV to NOT fall asleep because I'm tired of everyone judging me for sleeping with my child when she doesn't sleep... please, someone help me out.

okay mommy's be honest how many of you sleep with your babies? I try to get my baby girl to sleep in her own bed but it works for 10-15mins then she wake up crying I pick her up and lay her down with me and she falls right back to sleep what should I do? !!

When my step daughter was 4 I had this issue because her mom let her sleep in the bed but we put a tv in her room and she watched tv until she fell asleep :P had habit I know but it worked

my daughter didn't want to sleep in her bed ether, so what I did we went out and let her choose a pretty comforter for her bed. Also I let her sleep with all her stuffed animals and a soft fluffy blanket.

@amylov24, You can try laying with her on her bed and pat her on her back until she falls asleep and maybe stop rocking her.. the soon you get her to sleep on her own the better because you'll have a baby soon.
