Question, I'm a FTM & I wanna know what your guises opinion is on circumcision ?

I've even heard men have sued their parents for being circumcised and won. I haven't personally done research on it, so I'm not 100 percent sure

@marliemacieowensmomma I don't believe for "studies" are correct. If they were correct than the world would be filled with pain trauma men. I have never met a man in trauma over circumcision. I'm sure there is some out there, but I don't think it's far to say it affects a baby boys brain forever. If it did I'm sure more dad's would be against it.

And for those who say their baby didn't mind it, no he wasn't sleeping, no he wasn't unbothered, he was most likely in shock. It's excruciatingly painful.

There have been long term studies showing how the trauma of the pain of circumcision alters a baby boy's brain forever. Not worth putting your baby through such a trauma and altering his brain for an unnecessary cosmetic procedure

my son was circumcised the day after he was born. my husband made that decision since he is too. they numb the baby's area and honestly the healing process wasn't what I thought it would be. my son didn't seem bothered by it at all. do whatever feels right to you.

I planned to when I was pregnant and then once it came down to it, I changed my mind. I couldn't bare to see my child in that much pain.

I told myself if I had a boy I wouldn't because his dad wasn't

I didn't want him asking his daddy in the future why his is different :)

I have 2 boys and I didn't circumcise them because I have seen what they do to the baby when they do it and I'm not into that

your doctor will ask you and will most likely do it at Birth. when I was pregnant she asked me if I had a boy would I want him circumcised.

No idea honestly. I have a daughter and if I were to have a son I would say no so I haven't really looked into it. But I've heard that your supposed to do it within the first couple weeks. Just gotta research your options.

if I have a boy, I'm definitely getting it done. My husband is all for it also.

I'm against it. 1.because it is painful for them 3. Why are they born with it if it's not necessary? Makes no sense to cut off skin they are born with

Yeah I understand that what I mean is does it hurt the baby lot ? Are they in lot of pain. The father of my child wants to which is fine but I'm scared for him to go through so much pain

I'm for it but it's also not my business what someone else chooses for their child!
