Been trying to sleep train for the last week. It hasn't been easy like we were told but I'm not seeing too much progress. We set a scheduled bedtime, we follow a strict routine, and we put her to bed while she's sleepy but awake. She'll go to sleep on her own but she wakes up multiple times screaming her head off. After that she will put herself to sleep but will wake up every 15 minutes a couple of times before being fully awake. We started at 9pm and was told to up it. So we did 7:30 it there's no difference. Any suggestions? She's 4 months. The pediatrician has really pushed I start now and that there's no need for her to want to feed every couple of hour at night.
Ok thank you! Yeah I've given up and just rocked and nursed her to sleep. It was much better ☺️I will check those out thanks!
To be honest momma, it's harder to do it at this age. She's still young and doesn't fully understand. All she knows is that she wants her momma. I would advise you wait until she's older. Over 6m. I do have articles on my mommy blog about my experiences and techniques in sleep training my LO. Check it out: www.prolactingmama.com
Why has my child chose tonight of all nights to decide after months of sleeping through she's gonna wake up every couple of hours😩😳 I wouldn't mind usually but we've gotta be up at 6am for a hospital appt... 😴😴😴
So we got in super late last night. Had to carry my daughter to bed.
She had the nerve to try and wake me up at 7:30am saying she wanted breakfast. Smh (She wanted me to fix her a spread)🙄
I told her to choose some cereal. I'll fix her a bowl. Of course there wasn't any cereal that she wanted today 😴
I told her spoiled ass to figure it out and I went back to sleep 😂🤣
She ate an eggo.
I’m so tired but I can’t sleep. Every time I lay the baby down he wakes up after like 10 minutes. 😴
This week has been the hardest week of my life! Ever since my 1 year old was born she’s always had an AMAZING sleep schedule. She would wake up once a night maybe two but it was rare. As she grew up she stopped waking up at all and would sleep her 9-10 hours straight. Well this week she’s been waking up 4 hours after her bedtime, crying and screaming. I rock her back to sleep but she’s like a ticking bomb, as soon as she feels me putting her on her crib she immediately wakes up crying. It’s take...
my daughter will wake up when she's hungry but If it's been over 4 hours I wake her up. she'll barely eat if I wake her up myself. do I let her sleep or continue to wake her up?
Yeah I like your idea better. We will just wait
