My daughter has had a rash since the 2nd. She saw her doctor and was given prescription medication. I have tried hydrocortisone, Neosporin, A&D ointment, cornstarch, vaseline and every other ointment. Nothing is working and her butt is starting to bleed. She cries now when she is wet or has poop because it of it. And I have her seeing her new doctor tomorrow since her old doctor moved out of state this past week. Just want it to go away already. I have gone through so many diapers and I am so tired of hearing her cry about it and having to deal with her red butt and vagina. Seriously this is the longest diaper rash I have ever seen and I helped raise 9 out of 10 of my nieces and nephews. I've seen rashes before I have delt with rashes before but never delt with a rash for this long.

@babynessa, I'm so sorry. Poor baby! Have you tried Boudreaux's Butt Paste?? That was the only thing that helped my babies.

can I see a picture? It could be am allergy to something, like something she's eating, or a detergent or the diapers? wipes? is she getting changed enough? @babynessa

have you put Vaseline all over bottom after every diaper change, it could be the diapers. My son has a reaction to huggies randomlym

I haven't changed anything. Detergent is the same I've used since birth, wipes are the same brand and I only use huggies and parent choice diapers since birth. She hasn't been eating anything new. I use to change her 4 to 5 times a day and now I change her about every thirty minutes to an hour. I'll private message you a picture. @ryliannsmommy

@dori10 I have not tried Boudreaux's Butt Paste before. @beebaby I only use parent choice and huggies diapers but I have tried Vaseline.

When my baby had a terrible rash she was prescribed silvadene and coated with Boudreaux's butt paste. It worked wonders

I am defiantly going to ask about silvadene tomorrow. They gave me hydrocortisone and told me to use that and Neosporin but it doesn't work. @indigovation

That was first recommended to us as well and it didn't work either. So hopefully the silvadene works for you!

they gave my daughter a cream called nystatin and i mixed it with her desitin 3 times a day and it cleared right up. they also suggested triple paste its n a white and blue container it works wonders
