So my best friend says breastfeeding past six months is just plain gross! And women who do especially up to two years has a problem and getting something out of it! Good thing I don't care what she says!

I'm super gross as per your friend. Because I'm still EBF my son and he's past his 1 year birthday. And I'm happy you could care less what she says. Rock on momma. Imma breastfeed my son till he weans himself. @39surp,

I'm breastfeeding till a year. my ob and my daughters pediatric doctor encourage me to breast feed. it's not Nasty my cousin bf her first till 2. everyone to their own opinion I guess
What!? Doctors recommend mothers go to at least a year... at LEAST. Breastfeeding is natural and the best way to nurture your child on top of the fact it brings a bond between the two. And this coming from someone who has never breastfed!
