I'm beyond excited to be a mother but I'm also so terrified. I'm only 19 and recently stopped working. I wonder everyday if the choices I make are the right ones I want my little man to come in this world and be proud of the mother he has. I want to leave my mark on this world and help animals. My dream is to do something in the animal field. Can't figure out what yet, but another part of me says to just get a job that pays well and can help support my son. I just don't know what to do or where to start in life. I feel stuck

I was a teen mom at age 16..i am 38 yrs old now& became a Professional Pet Groomer since i was 19yrs old...i specialize in hand scissoring dogs.It has provided well for my family.Wish you the best

Thanks I used to help with mobile grooming before I moved and I loved it. I go back and forth between being a groomer or a vet tech

It might take a while, but if you don't have other support then I would say work and maybe go to school part time or online. Online would probably be better with a newborn and there are schools online that take financial aid. I know it's hard but my mom did it when she was 19 and pregnant and she is glad she did.
