FTM.. how effective is depo? My LO is only 2 months old...I'm not trying to have another baby just…

From personal experience... it made me gain a ton of weight, my hormones were ridiculous... it wasn't really a pleasant experience.

A lot of people have complained about trying to have a child afterwards

I got pregnant on depo. I'm 22 weeks now. I'm just finding out about this pregnancy like 2 weeks ago. gained 25lbs on it as well. it works differently on different ppl . if your skinny your butt is gonna grow lol

I was on it before and I also gained tons of weight. I even got horrible stretch marks before gaining all the weight. And then I was off of it for two years and never could get pregnant. The doctor never thought I would ever be able to have a baby after being on the shot.

I 4th the weight gain. Also I stayed bleeding off and on for 6 months

Depo was the first birth control I ever got years ago.. it made me gain A LOT of weight..

I know women who had it and gained a bunch of weight and my mom got pregnant on it and she miscarried. she had other problems too so I'm not saying the depo made her miscarried my friend got pregnant on it. I know a lot of other women who got pregnant on it.

I know you gain a lot and it is effective but I also know people who have gotten pregnant while on depo nothing truly is 100%

No! I gained a bunch of weight and got pregnant with my oldest while on it.

I was on the depo for 2 yrs. I loved it. I didn't gain any weight and it worked like it was suppose to I never had any scares. I also never had a period for the 2 yrs.

I heard it causes bone degeneration if used for long periods of time. I also know a lot of people who have gained a lot of weight using it. My doctor said she didn't recommend it and doesn't really like it but she did recommend the implant.
