so my 3 month old has very bad congestion, a virus in both eyes and a bad cough to where he has stopped breathing twice from coughing. I've taken him to the er and they said it was just a sinus upper respiratory infection but that was a week ago . I haven't been able to sleep cause I'm scared to . does anyone know what I should do to help him . I have a Vicks humidifier and the nasal drops and been using them for a couple weeks now but seem to not be helping.

my son is in the same boat and what has helped him is baby Vicks chest rub and calming comfort soap baths a nose Frida for nose suction because you can clean it and the babies seem to like it more and infant cough medicine

We have the same problem with my little girl. We use the nose Frieda as well and the saline drops. Every medical article I've read said just let it ride unless they have trouble eating though and only then should you use drops or a sucker. Buuuttt I'm not going to let my baby be miserable and not breathe well!
