Anyone else have to be put to sleep for their c-section? I did and just wondered how other moms felt about it. I feel like I was robbed of my birth experience, most people say I should be glad or I'm lucky. I just feel like I didn't get closure from my pregnancy and don't get me wrong I'm glad I have a healthy baby girl and all I just feel like I missed out. I went to sleep pregnant and woke up to a baby.

That happened to me with my first...it honestly left me with an empty feeling. Even to this day and shes about to be 8 :/

Yeah I was 39 weeks and had been told the whole time everything looked great. Turns out my placenta had died. I spent 45 minutes in an ultrasound with the techs acting really weird and then a doctor came in and said well you're having a baby now. Let's go. My bf barely made it out there before they wheeled me to the OR. I didn't have time to mentally prepare, get nervous or excited or scared. Worst part of it is my bf doesn't seem to understand it really bothers me and he likes to joke around that he got to see her first and she grabbed his finger first. I think he thinks I'm just jealous of that, but it's really the whole situation just really messes with me.
