Advice ladies!!!!
My fiances mom just had open heart surgery last month, and she also was diagnosed with stage 3 dementia. She receives a monthly disability check that's direct deposited to her bank and every month she asks her husband (my fiances dad) to draw out a few hundred dollars for her. Mind you, she never leaves the house due to her health. He assumed she was just putting the money somewhere and hiding it..
My fiances cousin and aunt (his mom's sister) have been going over there almost every day to 'help' her around the house. His cousin is supposed to eventually be getting paid for assisting her but that's not been discussed yet. the state is supposed to pay her. My fiance and his dad are getting suspicious about where her money has been going, so when his dad searched earlier and basically tore her room apart looking for it, and couldn't find it... now we're concerned.
what would you ladies do? I suggested putting up hidden cameras in the house, but I'm not sure what they're going to do. they don't want to accuse without evidence but I'm not sure what the next steps should be to take.

hidden cameras for sure becuase no one will tell the truth ... it will prove where the money is going and the lawyer can do something about it or the bank can give the checks to a more trust worthy person .. that is just ignorant of them to do that to her .

his dad is still in denial over the whole thing.. he doesn't believe their own family would do that to them. but I mean come on.. seriously. no one else is in and out of that house, ever. it's funny that they are over there every day now, watching every move she makes. and his cousin also opens his mom's mail!! which she's angry over that too. @ayden_mommy

@jessicarose0602 yea that sounds fishy !! You over there everyday when u havnt before and opening up her mail he is able to see how much money she gets ... that's not cool at all did anyone say atop touching her stuff ? and the dad is oblivious then . Becuase that doesn't make any sense you have no clue on what's going on in that house ... I would put up camera .

I told my fiance that he needs to put cameras up 😩 they need to catch them in the act! his dad isn't home sometimes during the day, so at first with them coming over it seemed like they were just trying to help.. but I honestly don't trust them at all!! ugh. @ayden_mommy

@jessicarose0602 I wouldn't either ... I can see maybe them taking turns coming over to make sure she okay but all of them noo noo way ... it's something going on for sure and your husband need a to get down to the bottom of it .

@mommylyfe88 they say they can't come right out and accuse them.. and I say they need to get cameras!! we've tried telling his dad that it just doesn't seem right and I'm hoping he's finally coming to his senses.

i told my husband about this and he said just have your finacee or his dad casually ask the aunt/cousin "have you seen where shes been putting her money at? she misplaced it and we were wondering if you noticed where she was putting it so we can remind her" if that doesnt work than cameras for sure

thank you! @savvysmom I'll suggest this to him when he comes home in the morning. since they seem to watch her every move, if they're innocent, maybe they can tell us. if not, then I'll know our suspicions are right. something just seems off about the whole thing.
