My mom tends to think of more of what's in her interests than mine. My brother got 50/50 custody of his kids but can't get them from school because he works till 6pm every day. So my mom asks me to get them. So this week after applying to multiple restaurants and retail positions I got hired at McDonalds. The hours are ideal since I won't be taken from my son during the day. But my mom got upset with my choice in going back to work. More importantly who was going to pick up my nephews if I had to work a job. I feel this is totally unfair. I have my son all day and then I'm responsible for two more kids with no break for myself nor am I paid for this service. Plus I want to go back to school.. so I'm being told to choose between bettering myself or stay where I am so my mom has someone for my brothers kids.
