People say the damnedest things! I just returned back to work after 3.5 wonderful months of maternity leave. I breastfeed my son and supplement with formula from time to time. I want to continue breastfeeding and I pump at work to keep my stash up. Something I thought was totally normal. I had a coworker ask me how pumping was going and before I could respond, assumed I wanted to know about her experience and her opinion. "I only breastfed my baby for 8 weeks and I never pumped at work. I guess I am more conservative than that." Like WTF, I pump in a windowless room with the door locked. It's not like I am pumping at my desk so everyone can see! I work in a small office of less than 10 people and some people don't even know I do it. No polite response came to mind so I just walked away.
