Hey everyone! My little one just turned four months yesterday and I am excited about starting him on baby food. I heard that you can start them at four months as long as they are excepting of it. When did you guys start with baby food and what did you start them on?

About 4 months also. Our pediatrician said it was okay as long as it's just for fun and not trying to replace formula 😊 we did rice cereal, apple purée, and banana!

i would deff talk with your doc but my son is 3 months he had cereal until he could keep it in his mouth so about 3 days and then i started baby food 1 time a day. now he has cereal for breakfast then food for lunch and dinner
Is it necessary to start baby food at 6 months? I mean I know it's to get the baby used to solid food, but is that it? Have any of you waited? If so, when did you introduce it?
When did you mommy's start letting your baby's taste food? Taste is the keyword not eat. I have a west Indian background and we usually start to let our babies taste different foods early after 4 the month mark and then we allow them to start eating foods around month 5.

We tried cereal at 4 months with our middle child and it made his tummy hurt so bad so we waited till 6 months and I will probably wait with my 3rd until 6 months but he was also born 4 weeks early!
