My daughter does this grunting noise after she eats, sometimes it sounds like she's trying to clear her throat other times it sounds like she trying to use the bathroom. She also turns red and milk comes out her nose after you burp her sometimes. She's only 13 days old, technically she's a premier, I had my twins at 36.6wks. She was sent to the nursery for 2 days for respiratory but they sent her home when I went home. We took her to the Er today and said she was congested and flushed her nose but I knew that wasn't the case. Shes doing it all over again. I dont know what to do or how to help her. The doc mentioned acid reflux but what can I do to help. has anyone experienced this??????
He stopped having it come out his nose. If yours is bottle feeding, make sure it is the slowest flow nipple possible.
@tabtoot did he end up with the milk out his nose after the change in milk or did the change fix that too? I think I may be reading it wrong
My four month Old did this for awhile until we put him on Enfamil A.R. For acid reflux. He wasn't keeping anything down, spitting everything up. Even breast milk. It is the only thing that has worked. He did end up with milk coming out of his nose when he was breast-feeding and bottlefeeding because he was drinking too much too quickly. I hope this helps!
@tabtoot ok thanks!
