Question about Postpartum Periods and Postpartum Acne:: so I had little miss August 25th, she will be 5 Months on my birthday (Jan 25) I had a lot of infections after I gave birth. I had my first postpartum period last month and it was BRUTAL!! I got my 2nd one today and it is also wicked bad. How long until it normalizes?? I had bad periods before pregnancy but these are 100x worse. I have a liver issue and because my enzymes are high I can not be on birth control ATM. So that's not an option. My 2nd ?? Is about acne. My face neck chest and back are covered in painful, some cystic acne. Worse than puberty. I had my thyroid checked blood work is normal the ultrasound showed one small 6mm nodule on the right side. Dr says it's not to blame for my symptoms and other symptoms I've been having. Anyone go through this severe acne issue and severe periods after having their baby??

@lindsey89 I can't help you with the acne part but when I got my pp period back after my first child they were bad and I have never had bad periods before. I got my period back 6 months pp and they didn't regulate until 13 months pp so 7 months to regulate then I got pregnant again at 15month pp. After my second child I got my period back at 7 weeks pp and it was nothing compared to after my first son. So I've only had it back for 2 months I'm waiting on this months. They're not bad at all they're like before I ever got pregnant at all.
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
So I keep feeling these lil sharp pains on my right side. You do get pains like that before you start your period right.? Remember I had that dark brown spotting for a few hours last month on the 22. My period suppose to start today.

I gotta question could I be pregnant and have 2 1/2 day period because I think i got pregnant on Nov 26 and had implantation bleeding on Dec 11 because I'm usually on my period for at least 4 days but mostly 5 or 6 which my full period was Nov 11 for 5 days ?? but in dec only 2 1/2 days it's kinda confusing really im excited about my Dr visit feb19 to know for sure :)
