So my period lasted 8/9 days. It was pink and brown the first two days and then had two days of really heavy flow which was annoying but then I had a two or three days of mostly spotting. I have a doctors appointment in the morning for my 6 week check up. Hopefully it's just my period. But the blood was dark brown when it was starting @theirmommy20,

it may go the "normal"length which is 7 or if I'm not mistaken PP bleeding can happen for a good while

It might be your period, I stopped pp bleeding at 4 weeks and got my period at 7weeks1day. It wasn't super heavy at first but a few days in it got heavy. I just used tampons and pads to help keep flow under control
