I've already gain 20 pounds at 23 weeks and I don't want to gain much more. Does anyone have any tips, and is it safe to lose weight at this point without dieting? 😳😩 also, the weight gain is mostly bump, bum, and legs. But I don't want to hit 200 before this is over.
Hi :)
I work out and eat healthy and I've gained 48 so far. Some bodies just respond different to pregnancy, for example, I retain a LOT of water. Just try to eat healthy and take walks when you can and try not to stress about the scale. you're growing a human girl!!
I'd like to add, I was trying to stay under 30 😂 but that didn't happen and in the end gaining 43 didn't matter at all to me because I lost most of it in the first week. I know women who workout everyday and still gain 40+. Don't worry too much about it unless your dr thinks there is an issue. Just make sure you feel good and be healthy.
At my 23 week appt I was up 18lbs. I gained 43 lbs total by delivery day and lost all but 10lbs by my 4 week pp appt. During pregnancy I wasn't too active but I did do things like take the stairs and park in the back of the lot and I did squats every day while I brushed my teeth (lol). Don't try to lose weight just try to eat healthy for you and baby. And walk when you can even if for just 10 min. Mine was mostly belly, boobs, and legs. I haven't done anything after pregnancy yet to lose weight other than breastfeed and holding my baby.
just do walks and some easy workouts and eat more healthy foods and lots of water ... no dieting at all
I've been losing weight and gaining weight without doing anything. The last couple of weeks I've been losing a pound a week and I'm 34 weeks and 6 days now
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
TWW!!

Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
eat healthy.. try not to over eat as hard as it is while pregnant. in your 2nd trimester you only need 300 more calories and in your 3rd trimester 500 more calories. I didn't give in to all my cravings and only gained 23lbs.. granted I was very active up to the day before I went into labor. now I'm 3lbs under my pre pregnancy weight. I was afraid I wad going to make it to 200lbs that's why I was more conscious of what I was eating and my activities
