I liked the ones that are more like a pod but he did not. Lol. So he won.

I used swaddle designs muslin blankets. My son didn't like his hands wrapped so this worked. I also used halo swaddle wraps because I could use them with his hands out.

my daughter was 5 lbs when she was born and we used what was called a pod. got them from babies r us and they zipped. such a life saver!! and they were thin so she didn't get overheated.

It helps soothe them, helps with their falling reflex (sometimes baby's fell like they're falling, when his arms are just raised for no reason), keeps them warm, a lot of things really.
