anyone know if you can tell the sex of the baby from the first ultrasound? I don't think you can but my sister is pregnant to and her doctor told her if placenta is on the left its a girl if its on the right its a boy... so she now swears she is having a girl and she is 13 weeks along. she also did some searching..... what do you guys think??

Her head lays on my left side and her feet are on my right side. Well I mean now she flips around and all, but that's how she lays
that's what I told my sister Lol its the same as when people say about the heart beat
If it's read correctly it could be. I'm sure there have been instances of it not being correct. I had an ultrasound at 13 weeks for gender and it was correct.

But don't go by old wives tales cause I had all symptoms that would say I'm having a boy and I'm having a girl
When my son was born the spot where his placenta was on the left side of my uterus cuz I asked my doctor cuz that was the spot that hurt when she massaged it and she said that it was the spot
it's called the ramzi theory. it's kinda accurate. was wrong for me with this baby, but was correct for my son and all 5 of my cousins. it's a bit and miss theory
there is a blood test to find the sex out?
