Has anyone gotten a letter from your pediatrician to give to WIC for a different formula? Do they normally just go with it or give you a hard time? They are always nice at the office here so I don't see them giving me a hard time I was just wondering though. My son needs a special formula so his doctor said I could get it through wic upon her request and gave me a paper.

Usually wic only provides one formula do to contracts they have with certain companies but give it a try

I had my doctor fill out a paper to give to the wic office and I had no issues. ☺ my daughter was put on similac alimentum.

She didn't say I should have any problems. She just said I could get it through them with this form she gave me. My son is a little underweight and she wants him to go on Neosure cause it has more calories than regular formula. @jessicarose0602, @mimiz,

I think it depends though what wic offers? I know up here in PA they offer similac and so I could switch her to the alimentum easily. hope they can get it switched for you. ☺

I think they offer a couple enfamils and a Gerber soy. And this kind I need is similac
