is it normal for my 6 week old daughter have a bottle at half 6 - 7 and still not wake up for one now? I've been checking on her constantly to make sure she is okay, but it seems like a hell of a long time to me... should I wake her up for a bottle or...?

yes @nessie95 we worry and its only natural as where there mommys.. ohh clever girlie well maybe after a good wind she will be down for the night let mommy get some good night well deserved sleep.. nice speaking to u hun xx
@baybiijord I do exactly the same and have been doing it all night. 😂 well I shouldn't have worried about her not getting enough milk, she's just gulped the majority of the bottle down. XD Hopefully that's just it, she is just comfortable now because I'd really appriciate the extra sleep. XD xx
see there u go hun, shes let u no she wants feeding lol.. yea i used to worry if i cudnt see jensons chest moving ild poke him just to make him move so i cud put my mind at rest. shes proberly more comfortable with the new milk and in less pain, which will mean she will sleep more and a bonus for u to hun gives u that bit more time/rest for ur self. sometimes babys are more hungry one day than other days. she will drink what she needs @nessie95 xx
@baybiijord she's literally just woken up for a bottle. XD I just stress over the smallest of things, especially since her milk has been changed by the doctors to lactose free one and she's not drinking the whole bottle like she was the cow and gate, I'm worried she's not getting enough, but clearly she's just tired and not that hungry. xx
if she was hungry shes let u no. i never once woke jenson upif he hadnt had a bottle, ild just checked on him make sure he was okay .. shes ovs tired so ild make the most of it and get ur head down who know she might go the night @nessie95 x
Baby girl falls asleep during feedings and nothing I do seems to wake up her to finish her whole bottle 😐
Her being up kicking at night in my belly is NOTHING compared to her waking & crying... lord I’m so sleepy 😩
Hopefully this is a wake up call for her. He’s dangerous af.
Breastfeeding moms, when did you give baby a bottle? I was shooting for 6 weeks but being the only one waking up with her is really starting to bug me and make me resent my s/o.
how many of you wake your baby up for their next bottle vs letting them wake up on their own ? I have been waking baby up around the clock...
I used to worry with Morgan as he'd sleep so much as a newborn. One midwife would say let him sleep. Another would say don't let him go longer than 5hrs (as a newborn). And they wonder why we get confused! lol. In the end I started leaving him. Sleep is just as important as feeding. I just counted my lucky stars he slept so well so early on lol. They soon let us know when they want feeding.
