How did you reintroduce bottle to a breastfed baby? My sil is having trouble reintroducing bottle to her strictly breastfed baby and returns to work on Tuesday....

@yanald90, i will let her know to try it, we have tried lots of different nipples and nothing helps, i will tell jer to do the half way bottle feed and see if it helps thank you!! :)
@beebaby, oh no my baby never got a bottle till now and he has no problem with it, its my nephew with the problem hes 2 months and gags with a bottle i have no clue whu
Breastfeed and half way (when the baby is not as hungry now) introduce the bottle near the nipple. This way baby associates the bottle with breastfeeding. try different temperatures for bottle. Baby might like the bottle little warmer even though breast milk is not.(incentive for the baby to try the bottle) different nipple, baby might not like the nipple on the bottle. Try and get one closest to the mothers.

I actually talked to my daughters pediatrician and she gave me a ton of bottles and nipples..she took it really well for being free cheap ones.
