Had my doctors appointment this morning. She checked my cervix for dilation. It was not that bad. If you have had a pap then you can expect it to be almost the same. I was thinking I was gonna be in tears from what other moms on here make it sound like. Had me scared and almost told her no. Smh. Oh and no cramping either. 😄

Female but I am close to labor so I don't know. She was up there for about 40-50 seconds and it was very painful.
@kellyl22, yeah I would not even consider having a male doctor. You are brave.
I've learned there's different degrees of checking bc I was checked twice and it was a piece of cake and the last time was utter brutality lol.
I had a team of OBs two guys doctors and some women , but I was 2 cm and 70% effaced at that point , I gave birth five days later @pdouse 😅
I have a guy Dr too. But my cervix never softened so when they checked me it felt like they were ripping me open

one of my guy OBs hurt me , he like dug for gold in their , it hurt so bad
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
