Okay Mommas,

My little angel was born Tuesday. She had some breathing issues so I wasn't able to hold her or breastfeed her until 5pm yesterday. While being kept in the nursery they started giving her a paci.. So now the only way she will latch while breastfeeding is if I wear a medela nipple shield. I really would like to nurse without the shield. Any tips on getting her to latch without it?
