Ugh, my dog is being a total asshole! We have shitty neighbors that let their dogs run loose around town. I called them in a couple times because of it (couple dogs fought my dog when we were on a walk and my kid was almost knocked out of her stroller during the fight). So Sunday night when we were out of town (Kita was chained up out back) my dog broke off her chain. Luckily she stayed close to home. We came back late and there she was in the driveway 🙄
I fixed her chain by putting on a new clip piece. Yesterday my MIL came over and she was in the porch smoking. A man was walking his little dog down the street and my MIL heard a loud snap, Kita took off after the dog! MIL ran inside to get me and as soon as Kita saw me, she came right back. Well, Kita found out how strong she is and breaks every clip/snap thing I put on her chain. So I got a new chain for her and today I see her in the front yard dragging that thing around, she ripped the stake out of the ground!!! My neighbor would definitely call the cops if they see my dog loose.
She has been digging holes(almost 3 feet and digging under the house, she has a dog house inside of our garage so it's not like she doesn't have shelter) and ripping up trash..just acting like a total dick. Our landlord doesn't like dogs, and we were lucky to keep her. She has been an outdoor dog for over a year and we didn't have problems until we moved. We want to bring her indoors, but if she keeps acting stupid, our landlord will prove us wrong (he thinks all dogs are destructive). We may have to find her a new home. :( We lived a block away and her pen is still over there (we don't have a way to move it right now and my fiancé wants to put it by the garage but they have to paint it first, which won't fucking happen until summer, if at all)
My SO walked her back over there and she will have to stay in her pen until we figure out when we can move it. I feel bad because she will be super lonely for awhile.
Once we get the pen over here and the invisible fence set up, it should get better.. Landlord won't put up with destructive dogs and she will have to go:( Sorry this was super long lol
She is well taken care of. Some people think outdoor dogs are forgotten, abused, neglected etc but most of the time they are not. I've seen more suffering with indoor dogs than outdoor:(
She isn't taking the move well and I don't know what to do..we literally moved a block! We have been trying to talk my landlord into bringing her indoors, but with her tearing up the yard and escaping all the time it looks really bad.
I've had this dog for 6 years and she has never been like this. She is being very passive aggressive and I can't just baby her, it'll make it worse. I know because I let her inside for a few days and her behavior went downhill. I'm so afraid my landlord will try and make us get rid of her. 😰
Also being chained up is temporary, until we can move her pen over here.
I don't think it's because she is outdoors, I think it's the move. She has been an outdoor dog for over a year and we have had no problems until we moved (we have been living her for almost two weeks now).
She may need a better home for her own personal well being..being constantly chained up seems to be taking a toll on her and its not fair for her to be forced to live like that. If your landlords going to be like that either move or do what's right for the innocent animal. So many things could happen to her 😢
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?

My sweet baby girl gained her angel wings this morning. She was my best friend, my true love my everything. She was so happy and beautiful, I'm struggling to say good bye. Sleep tight princess, mummy and daddy love you very very much ❤️
@mommyofsoontob3, she is very territorial. Especially with other females, doesn't matter the species either. If she gets caught off the leash, I know for a fact my neighbor will rain hell upon my head. I made a big stink about a couple neighbors with loose dogs (one had a $50 fine and the other had to rehome their dog outside of town)
