Ok here's a controversial topic. And just to start off right, I don't judge ANYONE &I I admire everyone's opinion equally. But I am curious and must ask, at what point after delivery do they circumcise newborn boys? Is it within the next 24 hours? Very shortly after? Or what? And have they evolved in the sense of pain management? I'm choosing to circumcise my son, but I want a little more information on the topic mainly because I want to breastfeed and I want skin to skin for as long as possible after birth? How long does it take? Also please do not judge my decisions as I would never judge yours!!! I'm just a curious mama and I want to know what to expect in the delivery room. Thank you ladies ❤

@mrs.n2014, I feel a whole world of better!not sure what's up with my anxiety this week but I feel like I'm freaking out over everything!!! Maybe because my friend just had her daughter via c sec and now I'm just ready to have my son in my arms! Preparing myself for delivery as much as possible lol, how long do they take them away for! Planning to breastfeed
They did my son's the same morning that we left . They would've done it sooner but he had jaundice
source, I'm a nurse and watch them being done/used to assist
depends on the hospital but they do it before you leave. They do medicate for pain and can also give a binky that tastes sweet. it takes about 5 minutes. they put a little circle device on the winkie and go around the circle. then its done. yes they are placed on an infant sized board to make sure arms and legs are out of the way (newborns are used to being curled up)
@malachaiesmama it didnt take very long i think, but he was away for about 3 hours. Only because my nurses made the decision to take him to the nursery instead of bringing him back to me! So make sure you ask for him after a while

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...

Why Are Many Women Unaware of Their Own Anatomy?
the amount of women who are clueless about their own anatomy is so sad and shocking. a lot of the women are older than me and have more children then I do 😳
now I understand that everyone has their own opinion on the topic and grown adults can do whatever they want with their bodies but to deny facts and make up false statements about your own anatomy when it comes to your unborn child is just so disappointing.
