I have two kids, Lia, 4 and Cole, 1 1/2. Lia had lived with her father for over a year after a custody battle. Well since she's been back here? it's been rough. She doesn't do well with rules, structure, anything that she doesn't "want" to do. it's been really hard. She starts a whining tantrum from the moment she wakes up until the moment she goes to sleep. It's been hard :/ I don't think this is a normal adjustment phase. I feel she has been over indulged to the point of it being neglectful and I'm trying to pick up the pieces... I'm definitely thinking counseling would be beneficial since it has been two months and it is only getting worse :(

I'd say to give her some more time to adjust hersel , she's very young and all kids at that age have tantrums and it's hard to manage for them . I had the same problem with my daughter but she's another story because she was 9 so there were things unacceptable she did but she was old enough to understand better which she didn't want to. My advice to you it's that don't give up on her I know it's hard , put your rules and she'll learn them little by little , keep your guard up and most of all show her the love you have for her I bet since she's so young she will get used to you and love you more
