my fucking insurance hasent paid my hospital bill or the NICU bill either i have 2 call them and see why they havent paid for it the NICU bill is $3,348.00 like umm hello i dont have that type of money they better pay that shit cause thats why i have insurance for so i wont have 2 pay for shit like that an the hospital keeps calling me asking me why i havent paid the bill yet like im not gonna pay it i dont have that type of money im not rich i dont even work

Call up you insurance first thing in the morning! Take notes- write down who you're talking to and what they say. Ask them why it hasn't been taken care of yet.

Sometimes insurance companies don't pay because the hospitals coding isn't right or doesn't match up, sometimes they don't cover certain services, and sometimes they expect you to pay a certain percentage or a portion until your deductible is met. In any case you will have to call and get it worked out before the hospital sends it to collections. It could be as simple as getting the ins company to re-bill something. Worst case scenario you can get on a payment plan with the hospital so your credit doesn't get ruined.
