@jeanetta25 @missjess all I know im scared cause every time I get US they claim everything normal but I want to see bout a US at my next visit January 4th
Yea 8 pounds is fine for vaginal birth when your full term etc . But umm if you have an 8 pound baby around 37 weeks and there's no sign of labor they will usually deliver you at 39 weeks . But they wouldn't know unless you get sonos on a regular . And like @missjess, said you could be further than they think maybe someone got the wrong dates I mean measuring 42 weeks at 35 is a huge difference either there's a mix up or you just might have a bigger baby since your fluid is fine . I mean can always talk to them about your last period and have them recalculate and if it comes back the same it is what it is !! Most important thing is that baby is healthy . And you never know maybe baby was just going through a big growth spurt I mean that tend to happen between 28 and 32 weeks and then again once you hit 35 . I wouldn't worry !! But if your concerned just talk to the doctors about weight or see if you can have another sono to see where she's weighing . @keshia027,
Hm, they positive they haven't miscalculated? That seems a bit much to be measuring 7 weeks ahead?! I had a big baby and I measured right on track. Hopefully if she is really just big you don't have to vaginally birth her.
My son was estimated around 6lbs I don't remember the oz my last sonogram at like 34 ish weeks and he came out 8lbs 6.7 oz I gave vaginal birth and only needed a few stitches.
42 weeks holy shit . Have you had an sono recently maybe you have more fluid than norm surrounding her which could add more weight but shit I'm no doctor that's crazy if you really are measuring that big and it's all baby . You deff can kiss vaginal birth good bye but in that case you'd be happy to have a c-section she'll tear you apart if she's that big specially before the 39 week ! A lady on here last month had an 10 pound baby . They didn't know her son was that big until labor when he got stuck and things kinda went left they did a quick sono and saw he was 9 pounds as they thought rushed her for emergency c-section for him to come out 10 smh
@jeanetta25 on November 9th she was 2lbs 13oz and a month later on my December 12th weighing 5lbs 3 oz. omgggg I'm worried. my belly already measuring at 42 weeks
I had one with my son even though he was small . My pelvic is too small for vaginal birth . The c-section itself was pretty simple and quick but the recovery was HELL !! Soooo painful . I'm having another one and I'm happy because labor won't be long for me like it was for my son but I'm soooo not looking forward to the recovery part😨!! Lol . Idk think do c-section for weight unless your looking at an 8 pound baby before 39 weeks . So hopefully she's just going through her growth spurts and will slow down some if you don't want to have a c-section
sheesh she may be a big baby if she doesnt slow down some lol . at 32 weeks my girl was 3 pounds and some and now at 36 weeks shes 5 pounds 7 ounces . But at the sametime there Just estimates but they do be right or not far off though . When I had my son they said he'd be 6 pounds and he came out 5 .
