I was terrified to have a c section but once it was over it really wasn't so bad.

Same here momma. I tell everyone a c section cured my baby fever and I'll never go through it again. There are lots of successful VBAC stories, but it's very risky, so I'd never do that either 😔

also a nurse told me it depends in how they cut the inside of csection. if its verticle then you might not have a shot but if its horizontal yes.

As long as you take 19 months in between the next pregnancy you should be fine to do a vbac. My girls are 19 months apart and I was going to go for vbac but the baby measured too big for me to push so they went ahead and scheduled a repeat csection. Good thing too she was 8lbs 2oz a week early. 😮

I know several people who have had successful VBACs, but like @fit_mom, said, you need to do your research. You will need to prepare mentally and physically, which means waiting the full year or more to allow your body to heal completely. If you get pregnant again inside of a year they won't even let you try because of risk of uterine rupture.

You should research VBAC. It's a big decision to make personally. But if I was in your shoes, I would at least try for a VBAC.
