My husband and I talked about the birth and our little baby girl. We want to try to wait until 40 weeks if possible rather than be induced at 39 weeks like the doctors want. The only reason they want to induce me is due to being on high blood pressure medicine because I have high bp before pregnancy and during pregnancy. But...my bp has been fine the entire pregnancy, not once higher than it is supposed to be. I don't want to be induced if possible because my body won't be ready for labor and I don't want to force it and make my chances of a c-section higher. My specialist said she doesn't see a reason why I can't wait until 40 weeks but Tuesday I need to talk to my actual OB and see what they say.

Your due date is in January, mine is the first day on February but I doubt she will wait till February to come.@knw0224

i know. I'm glad my husband and I are on the same page about all this stuff. He was actually the one to say hey we should think about the induction cause he knew how much it bothered me when I found out they wanted to induce me at 39 weeks.@beebaby

I think that's a reasonable line of thinking... I would want to wait also!

OT. our baby girl! :) I was induced yesterday morning due to high bp at 38 weeks & 2 days.
High BP
My BP was high-ish at my checkup today. 138/87. It's been on the higher side the last two appointments. :-/ He wants me to come back in on friday for another BP check.

My doctor is trying to induce me before 40 weeks because she's going to be off on my due date and says my placenta is starting to look old. How do I get labor started?? I don't want to be induced for no reason and I'm thinking I won't have a choice. Please help. What do I do to get things going?
Admitted in labor & delivery due to high bp, excessive swelling on face, feet, ankles, legs, hands and severe headaches "sign of preeclampsia" doc wants to wait anotherrrr week to induce me. Bed resting until then 😩 im beyond exhausted!!! Oh.. And that's my mother in the background 👯

Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. Not before Christmas. How am I'm going to tell my kids?? My dear sweet baby boy. Why did this happen?
