No girl nurse as long as you want! The average age a child weans is 7. Taking into account the rest of the world. A lot of people in the US look down on us mommies who breast feed longer than a year. They say your milk is nothing but water, it's no good anymore, or we're 'getting off from it'. The longer you nurse the better!
