Okay mommies strange question. My wedding dress got ruined because I made the mistake of living it with my mom and her boyfriend in Texas and long story short it got messed up. Now my question is, keep in mind I know it's a waste of money but I don't care, would it be wrong for me to have like a do over wedding so I can get a new dress and maybe save the money to finally go on a honeymoon? What do y'all think?

@mommy.to.sterling I just want a dress for my daughter to have when she gets older, but I don't want to not wear the dress.

Hardly anyone wears their mother's dress anymore--the styles change too much. Can you imagine wearing your mom's wedding dress from the 80s or whatever? You have photos of yourself in it, and that's what counts. Save the money and go on a honeymoon.

@ciraclesmiracle I guess that makes more sense, I liked my mom's wedding dress except it's dropped off the face of the earth and it was dark green. This was my wedding dress. I got lucky finding it. Perfect size and I only paid 25. I loved it. I regret leaving it.

That's too bad. Maybe you can save something else for your daughter--like your veil or jewelry? I gave my dress away because it was taking up too much room and I'm not sentimental. I liked it, but I have plenty of photos of it. It was cream lace strapless mermaid style. I got it at a sample sale.
