HELP

so my daughter is 5 months and extremely clingy. It's becoming a problem with my husband because he wants to be able to bond with her and hold her without her screaming her head off. She stops immediately when I pick her up and it's to the point where it's starting to effect our relationship. I don't know what to do. I'm tired of fighting with him about it and I'm tired of seeing him get hurt because of it so any suggestions please!
