Is it normal for an almost 9 month old to throw a tantrum when things don't go her way or she doesn't get something she wants?? Because let me tell you my 9 months old is acting like a damn two year old. I'll tell her "no" and she'll throw the bigger fit
How do you handle it? Or stop that kind of behavior.
Or is it just because she's still so young ??
My son is the worst when it comes to tantrums. His dr once told me to just ignore them once he starts throwing one just walk away from him. Mine is 2 though but maybe it'll work on a 9 month old. I was always told to start young with discipline.
@junesmommy_15, I'm going to try that. Because it's getting so ridiculously bad i can't believe it. I don't want her to be THAT kid . I'll go crazy
When my son use to through tantrums at the age I just talked soft and asked what's wrong. I just tried to give him something that would make him happy. If he continued to throw a tantrum. I ignored him. It may sound bad but it wasn't. Once he saw I wasn't giving his tantrums my attention he stopped. Babies are very smart.
My daughter throws tantrums when I take things from her or tell her no. She will be 9 months in five days. I try to redirect her but sometimes it doesn't work. So I usually just ignore her to let her know she will not be getting attention from me while she's screaming and throwing herself. She usually stops once she sees I'm not paying attention.
