you can't not feed him. Some babies like to graze and drink small amounts frequently.

My son wakes every 2-3 hours at night because he's hungry. He cannot make it through the night without eating. Your son is probably the same. He will eventually outgrow it, but until then you just gotta keep his tummy full

Is he really hungry or is he looking for it to comfort him? My son did it out of habit so i weaned him off by reducing the amount in each bottle he took at night until eventually he didnt wake anymore for it

At 8 months my baby was eating baby food and I was slowly introducing her to table food and it made her sleep through the night.

I give her that night time bottle with a little bit of cereal in it and a small serving of baby food she be out till the next morning lol.

Do you feed him solid during the day? Give him solids for dinner and a bottle at bed time. We brush our teeth after a bottle and I usually rock or soothe my son to sleep. He may still wake for a bottle! Keep everything handy so you don't have to got thru so much trouble... consult with your pediatrician before adding cereal to baby's bottle.

I have tried giving him a bottle with formula , cereal , and baby food in it. that didn't work. I've tried water. didn't work ... I've tried sippy cups. :( the reason I'm asking is because technically he's "over weight " for his age the doctor said and she also said I need to cut back on his feedings specially at night that's why I'm asking for help because I don't know what to do ... I don't want to deny him food if he's hungry but I also want to listen to his doctor. thank you ladies all your advice is much appreciated!
