This may seem petty, but I am so frustrated. I have helped friends plan weddings, bridal showers, and baby showers. I'm 17 weeks pregnant, and looking to have my baby shower in early March. Not one friend has come forward to offer to plan it. My own step-mom even said that "it isn't the job of the mom-to-be's mother to plan the shower". My mom also is just not one for planning and isn't a fan of baby showers at all. I really hate to think that I have to plan my own baby shower but it's really seeming that way. I just feel like I give and give to others, and when I am the one who needs help I have nobody. Sigh.
