should I try to put different things on my registry so I won't get the same items? I always don't remember what I put so I feel like I duplicate things.
Things I never thought I'd say... Until I became a mom:
need suggestions.... So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.

Okay mommies what did y'all put on y'alls registry? I put basic stuff but not clothes because I think that's the automatically thing everyone thinks of when they see baby.

You could. I wish more people even paid attention to registries. Not a single person bought anything off mine at my shower. Now if I was buying for someone else I'd always look to see what they need. You can go online and see your registry or go to the store and get a print out. I made my registries all online.
