Is it ok for my boss to only pay me for half my hours if I worked 30 hours is this legal

That's what I thought but Idk what I should do I have only been working for a week I've worked 30 hours he told me this week I'm only getting half my pay because he wasn't gonna pay me at all until my training was over but his brother who owns the store said to pay me half if I say something about it's not right then he may fire me @jsco,

he sounds like someone you don't want to work for. you can take it to the labor board and see if they say anything. but they can't just not pay you if you worked the hours.

Yea I know lol and idk I'm sure I will get paid a full check next week idk I need a job but I don't need to be getting cut short

Well he isn't gonna give what I don't get paid this week next week but idk we will see I am prob gonna search for another job in the mean time
