Mamas with cysts on your ovaries... do you notice you get worse period cramps when you have one???

Yessss. Hurts so bad. I usually get terrible cramps as it is, but I have a cyst and they feel so much worse this time. Like I feel like I'm gonna be sick because they hurt so bad. 😩 @mimiz,

my mom had hers removed with surgery a few years ago

I've had issues with cysts on my ovaries since I was a teenager... I've had them burst before and the pain was worse than contractions (probably because they catch you off guard)..... I actually had to have surgery the summer before I got pregnant with my son... A cyst had ruptured and another one was getting ready to, so they removed both of them and scrapped my uterus... a few months later, I was pregnant (after years of trying to conceive)... THEN, they came back early in my pregnancy, but went away on their own. some women just struggle with stuff like that. my doctor said they get worse around your cycle because that's when they fill with fluid. for majority of women, it resolves itself though..... a few days after I found out that I was pregnant, I found out that I might have breast cancer and had to have surgery when I was 15 weeks pregnant. I got 2 lumps and part of a milk duct removed... that obviously has nothing to do with your post, but I was like WTF... I had never had surgery up until the one for my cysts. now I've had 2 already smh... anyways, talk to your obgyn... it's a really simple procedure. small incision. they go in with a scope that's got a camera on the end. you go home the same day. it's worth at least checking into if the cysts bother you. good luck hun.

YES!!!!!!!!! when I get a period every other blue moon.. (I don't get my periods a lot but I'm about to get medication for it) I have the worst cramps ever and nothing helps with the cramps I just have to suffer it out for 5 day and sometimes 6 days depending on if I spot the 6th day

That sounds terrible, sorry you had to go threw all that!!! I actually have an ultrasound today to check on it, but the cramps came with total vengeance and it's absolutely terrible! I never had one before so I was totally surprised by it. Cause I had been feeling pain when I leaned on my stomach weird and was like wtf then when we had sex, i was in soooo much pain, so I made an OB apt and he did some checking of things and when he went in to feel and asked me if the spot hurt I almost kicked him it hurt so bad, so then today I'm going back in for him to check it. @kala_elise,

Yeah it's only been day one but hurts!! I was in pain from it with pressure but I was fine, then I'm about to get my period and noticed they hurt so much more!!! @amberjacq,

@shananaginsx the pain started with me after having sex too... hope you feel better

@shananaginsx oh it's the worst I've had pcos sense I was 9 so I've had to deal with it for along time
