I really wish people would grow out of this skin color bs it really pisses me off when people see me and my husband together and instead of complimenting us as a couple they just mention that our children will be cute since they're going to be mixed or have good hair when in general I have an awesome grade of hair and I'm not ugly I wish people were raised better 😒

I'm glad there are more people against the ignorance than for it it's annoying and just makes me think about how people will treat my child because of his cultures or the way he looks

I've had professional personnel tell me such things. Even doctors. Usually in the form "your not that dark and your husband is white so your daughter will be a beautiful tone". They don't know how offended I am when I'm told this constantly

This is my husband and I. Usually the compliment is "wow he's a very attractive man your daughter will be beautiful". Sucks to be the ugly monster in the mix lol

#realtalk. Had a lady tell me. Your daughter is beautiful, white just like her daddy....um what the hell?!?!? so im ugly, or shes pretty bc shes white. Either way thats fucked up. People are just naive, and have been taught beauty is from european features when beauty comes in all shapes, colors, and tones.
