wasnt able to get my son anything for Christmas, so yesterday watching all has cousins and stuff open their gifts made me feel super sad... I almost cried. I know gifts dont matter but watching him trying to rip gift wrap and stuff and pulling him away from the gifts made me feel guilty :/
no my bfs family is very dry they dont care like that to include people in on the fun
Nobody in your family let him help? My daughter is almost a year and randomly would grab wrapping paper from random presents nobody in my family pulled her away or told her no. they just let her "help"
the materialistic stuff isn't important at the end of the day :) @domsmama96
I know girl. thank you! it was just sad cause he would get so happy and clap at everyone. but I know I can always get him something later on :)
Don't feel bad mama, the gifts you give him daily are worth so much more than a toy wrapped in christmas paper . You work hard every day to keep a roof over his head and his tummy full, you give him so much love and attention, you talk & sing to him to help his little mind grow stronger and stronger. Those are all gifts worth far much more than a simple memory (which he won't remember at this age) of unwrapping a gift .
He didn't open one? At all
