my daughters running a rectal temp of 104.2 it's be climbing from 101.2 this morning to now being 104.2 I've been giving her ibuprofen every four hrs but she's at the max for what she can have in 24hrs which is 4 doses according to the bottle I've tried everything I can thin of but it goes down and then comes back higher the next time she can barely breath and she has been coughing for two days :(

she has a 102 armpit temp and they gave her tylonel now waiting on the Dr.
With a rectal temp of 104 she needs to be taken to the ER asap. Take it from a nurse pov and as a former pediatric nurse. Good luck love. @summer415,
